REAP Olean Farmers Market

Every vendor at the farmers market must be a member of REAP. We are a community of proprietors committed to growing and strengthening small agriculture and local business.

We have monthly meetings during the winter months, but members have year-round access to fellow members for insight, input, conversation and consultation. We grow stronger together!

Your application MUST be electronically signed below. If you need to submit other applicable documents such as crop Plan, permits (see below) and fees (membership and market fees), these need to be submitted before your application can be reviewed.

Any applications received after April 15 of the market year will be subject to a 2 week waiting period before selling.

Licenses, Permits, and Certificates

  1. Food preservers wishing to sell jarred fruits, vegetables, pickled products, sauces, relishes, and other low-acid foods must provide proof of manufacture under a NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets approved processing method at an inspected facility. (20-C)
  2. Vendors wishing to sell baked goods and/or jam and jellies, must provide a copy of their NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets Home Processor Certificate, a current water test certificate, and conform to labeling requirements.
  3. Vendors wishing to sell plants (annual or perennial) must include a copy of their NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets Nursery Registration Certificate. (Growers and Sellers certificates)


  1. Bona fide farmer (grower) (taken from NYS Farmers Market Manager Training Manual): The seller is the producer of the products being offered for sale, from land he owns or rents, with control over production, harvesting, and marketing of the products, and a financial interest in the products.

I, the undersigned, have read the Rules and Regulations of R.E.A.P. Farmers Markets, and do agree to abide by all of the rules and regulations.

  • I agree to operate my booth in a safe and courteous manner and to pay rents as set forth by the agreement.
  • I understand that my failure to comply with the rules and regulations could result in dismissal from the market.
  • I understand that the booth rent, length of season, and hours of operation are determined by the R.E.A.P. Board of Directors and, even if I do not agree with them, I will abide by them.
  • I verify that all information I have provided about my farm and products for sale is accurate and true.
  • As a vendor wishing to rent space, I agree to save, hold harmless, and indemnify R.E.A.P., its sponsoring agency, host locations, members, and employees from any and all liability or responsibility pertaining to any damages to person or property on the site leased by me from R.E.A.P., when such damages, or liability arise out of any acts of my own, or of my employees or associates, located at said site.
  • Proprietor Electronic Signature - Type your formal name as you would in a signature. This constitutes the same meaning and responsibilies as signing in ink.
